Make a Difference at Bank Farm RDA: Volunteer Today!

Do you have a passion for making a positive impact in your community? Are you looking for a rewarding experience that allows you to connect with nature and support individuals with disabilities? Then look no further than volunteering at Bank Farm RDA!

​

Bank Farm RDA provides therapeutic horseback riding opportunities for individuals with disabilities, fostering their physical, emotional, and social well-being.  As a volunteer, you'll play a vital role in supporting our participants and creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.

​

The success of RDA depends on our team of enthusiastic volunteers, who range from 12 to 75 years old and devote their time to creating a meaningful and happy community.  

We are seeking dedicated volunteers for a variety of roles, including;

Anne Coney with Tiny Tim at Bank Farm Riding for the disabled

Fundraising/Events taking part in helping us organise fund raising events at the centre and in the community. Or organising your own! [Go to our Support Us page]

Sidewalkers: Assist riders with balance and safety during mounted sessions.

Yard Helpers: Taking care of our ponies by way of grooming, tack cleaning, keeping the yard tidy, taking the ponies to and from the field and any other chores which are required.

Session Coaches being trained to coach our sessions. 

Horse Leaders: Guide the horses during lessons, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Centre MaintenanceDIY, cleaning and variety of other chores helping to keep the centre spick and span.

No prior experience is necessary! We provide comprehensive training and support to all our volunteers.
